It seems that car buyers can’t get enough of Ford. Since their launch, the all-new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX have recorded more than 100,000 sales and orders, with 8132 sales being recorded in the UK between January and May of this year.

The popular MPV is a five-seat, tall vehicle offering families plenty of space as well as superb performance. Its sister vehicle, the Grand C-MAX seats up to seven and is hugely versatile, with a large boot that can be extended thanks to folding seats. Both cars also have a maximum five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and come in a range of trims offering different levels of comfort.

In response to the popularity of the vehicles, Ford has increased the line speed at its Valencia plant almost 18%. Roelant de Waard, Ford of Europe’s vice president of marketing, sales and service said, “We expected a strong customer demand for the Ford C-MAX and Ford Grand C-MAX, but demand has exceeded our expectations. Sales of the all-new Ford C-MAX will contribute to our expectation that around 40 per cent of all the new vehicles we sell in Europe this year will be totally new or significantly freshened models."

Of all the C-MAX models that have been sold so far, 65% have been top end trim levels, compared to 32% over the same period for 2010.
