Ford has released the latest addition to the Fiesta range, the new special edition 134bhp hot hatch, known as the Ford Fiesta Metal. The Metal edition Fiesta is available on the road from £15,695.

There are only 1,000 Metal edition Fiestas manufactured with Ford dealers trying to get their hands on as many as possible. There is no doubt that it is going to be quite difficult to find one of the limited-edition models. Ford Fiesta Metal

The specification of the Fiesta Metal includes chrome twin exhaust pipes, a silver painted front grille surround, front aerofoil and front fog light bezels. The ebony black leather sports seats – similar to those in the Fiesta Titanium – are a further addition to the limited edition. The last finishing touch to the interior is the unique hard-wearing floor mats which are edged with silver piping. Ford has given the Metal edition a sporty look by adding a lowered suspension as standard, with 17” black alloy wheels unique to this car only.

The car is available in Pantha Black, Midnight Sky and Frozen White and looks stunning in each of the colours. As with all Ford cars, a range of features on the Fiesta that come as standard. A key feature is the electronic stability programme (ESP), which is used to improve safety by detecting and minimising skids. The Fiesta also has home safe headlights which can be activated at night when leaving the car, enabling you can see the area in front of the car to make sure you get to your house safely. It has front, side and knee airbags to minimise injury in the event of an accident. One of the most advanced features of the Fiesta is the anti-lock braking system with brake-force distribution (EBD). This automatically varies the amount of force that is being applied to the vehicles brakes at any one time.
