Within months of going on sale, Ford’s latest Mondeo model has been named best family car and best estate car of 2011 by What Car? at this month’s awards.

The Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 140PS Zetec picked up the titles of best family car and best estate, a repeat of the model’s double success at the awards in 2009. What Car?’s Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief, commented, “The latest Mondeo is simply a brilliant car – and now even better value.
