Group Retail Stock Buyer

Role

We are seeking a Used Car Buyer to join our Used Vehicle Sales Departments to source suitable used vehicle stock for sale across our network of Dealerships.

Experience within the last 2 years as a Commercial Vehicle Buyer for a Dealer Group or Car Supermarket is desirable. Knowledge of used vehicle buying and selling is essential.

Professional Specification

• You will be responsible for qualifying and converting our valuation website enquiries.
• You will build relationships with our customers over the telephone, email, social channels and live chat and will provide an excellent experience with the aim of converting customer enquiries into vehicle purchases.
• You will support and drive the purchase used car stock to fulfil our dealerships stock requirements. This will include being proactive in sourcing additional stock options from 3^rd party online suppliers (eg Cazoo, Motorway, Cinch and Facebook).
• You will negotiate used vehicle purchase prices in accordance with the Regional Sales Managers for our Scottish and Liverpool divisions.
• You will build and maintain relationships with all dealerships, suppliers, vendors and auction houses.
• Closely monitoring industry trends and pricing trends to ensure used car stock allows sufficient margin.

• Experience using a variety of methods to source vehicles.
• Experience of working in a target driven environment
• Due to the geographic nature of our business, a full EU driving licence is required.
