Ford Active Park assist allows your car to identify a suitable parking space and using on-screen and audible alerts, the car will direct itself into the space whilst you operate the accelerator and brakes. Ideal for drivers who park on the road every day, Active Park Assist helps make parallel parking much simpler but taking care of all of the steering.
The technology uses a variety of sensors which are able to monitor the sizes of parking spaces as you drive passed them, informing you when a space large enough to fit your vehicle is found. These sensors will then guide the car and allow it to steer itself into the parking space whilst you operate the accelerator and brakes accordingly.
