Peoples Stories with Hayley Margot

This week Peoples Ford gave us the Focus mild hybrid to test drive, and we took it out for a little autumn adventure in the countryside.

We collected the car from the Speke showroom and felt completely safe upon entering, we wore masks and there was a hand sanitising station at the main entrance. We were taken over to the car and were really impressed how spotless it was inside and out (we took extra antibacterial wipes just to be on the safe side but it really didn’t feel like they were needed).

We typed the destination into the touch screen SatNav and away we went! The intelligent SYNC 3 technology allowed us to connect our smartphone to provide safe and simple media streaming on the go.

The EcoBoost Hybrid boosts power, maximises efficiency and minimises emissions. The Focus is built to improve your driving experience in every way. This next generation car is packed with advanced features like:

  • Ford Co-Pilot360
  • Heated seats
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Live Traffic
  • Wi-Fi hotspot
  • Remote locking & unlocking
  • And so much more!

The Split-View Camera technology made driving down country lanes a breeze – it helps you to see traffic that’s coming from the rear sides. It works by showing you a near 180-degree image of the area behind your vehicle. This helps you to spot obstacles that can’t be seen over your shoulder, or in the mirrors when you’re reversing.

The adjustable load floor in the boot (which can be raised to give you a hidden storage compartment, or lowered to increase space) came in very handy for our pumpkin harvest and we took full advantage of the heated front seats after a day out in the fields.

We had THE BEST DAY out in the countryside - even just driving round country lanes watching all the leaves turning orange and brown was so beautiful. I highly recommend adding a road trip to your local pumpkin patch to your bucket list this autumn.
