The Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX scooped awards at the annual Fleet News Awards this month, being voted the best new company cars of 2010. The ceremony was attended by nearly 1,300 fleet industry representatives at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on March 16th.
The cars were judged on such criteria as running costs, suitability for business use and level of support from the manufacturers and their sales teams. Against stiff competition from manufacturers such as BMW, Volkswagen and Skoda, the Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX won Best People Carrier and New Company Car of the Year.
The panel of judges, made up from industry experts and senior editors at Fleet News said, “The new C-Max and Grand C-Max stand out thanks to clever and flexible seating and sliding rear passenger doors in a highly competitive sector with a range of new entrants.”
The new Ford C-MAX and Grand C-MAX have been on sale since November and provide fleet customers with a versatile solution to their business needs. With a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and low running costs, they are efficient medium-sized vehicles that can cater to various requirements.
