A new electrified car brand from Chery International. Launching officially at Peoples in 2026. Every LEPAS vehicle, whether hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or fully electric is built around Leopard Aesthetics, a design philosophy inspired by the speed, power, and fluid grace of the leopard. The first UK model, the LEPAS L8, is a spacious five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV arriving in 2026.

Who are Lepas?

LEPAS is the fourth brand from the Chery International group to launch in the UK, joining OMODA, JAECOO and Chery UK.

Its first UK model, the LEPAS L8, is a large five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV built around a philosophy of precision, power and elegance. Across the range, all LEPAS models will be electrified: hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric.

The New Lepas L8

A large Plug-In Hybrid SUV arriving in the UK in 2026

The LEPAS L8 will be the first model to launch at Peoples Lepas, marking the arrival of the LEPAS brand in the UK.

Powered by the the LEPAS Super Hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor and an 18.4kWh battery. Bold leopard-inspired design and a 2,800mm wheelbase complete the picture.

Leopard-Inspired Design​

Every surface of the L8 is shaped by Leopard Aesthetics, LEPAS's design philosophy that draws on teh fluid power and precision of the leopard to inform the proportions, lines and detailing of the vehicle. 

Leopard-Eye LED Headlights​

The L8's defining front-end feature: full LED headlights shaped in the distinctive angular outline of the leopard eye, with a chrome surround that gives the fact its character. 

Porcelain-Inspired Elegance

The sculpted rear of the L8 takes its influencer from the flowing, refined forms of Chinese porcelain, bring a softness and crafted quality to the bodywork that sets it apart from conventional SUV design.

Vibrant Premium Metallic Paint 

The L8 is available in a range of premium metallic finished, including the bold tones designed to express the brands confident, expressive identity.
