The driving force behind the all-new DOLPHIN G DM-i is BYD Super Hybrid with DM (Dual Mode) Technology. It represents a game-changing evolution in intelligent plug-in hybrid technology. Exclusively developed by BYD, it offers multiple benefits, including energy efficiency, low fuel consumption, driving performance and comfort.

BYD Super DM Technology uses a tailor-made version of the highly acclaimed Blade Battery. These bespoke Blade Batteries for the hybrid platform have power capacities up to 18kWh, achieving a pure-electric range up to 55 miles in the Boost version.

The BYD DOLPHIN G DM-I has a verified carbon footprint as low as 144.16g CO2 E/KM, covering its full lifecycle from materials and production to use and end-of-life recycling. ​

BYD Cloud Service enables remote vehicle monitoring and control via app. The smartphone NFC key allows  instant access - simply tap your phone near the vehicle to unlock. ​
