The YANGWANG U8 & U9 at Peoples BYD Liverpool

The YANGWANG U8 and U9 wowed this year at Goodwood: Festival of Speed as the featured supercars of the BYD paddock. After entertaining the masses, with tank turns and dancing, the U8 and U9 embarked on a prestige tour of the UK's BYD sites, making their way to us at Peoples BYD Liverpool. YANGWANG is the luxury brand from BYD, currently only available in China, therefore the chance to have them with us was a true honour.

We welcomed the YANGWANG U8 and U9 the best way we knew how, with a Summer Event. We invited friends, family and our beloved customers to the Peoples BYD showroom, giving them exclusive access to the flawless YANGWANG cars, letting them get to know the ins and outs, the fantastic features and even showing off the cars party tricks. That's right, as well as performing the U8's famous tank turn, we at Peoples BYD were the first to exhibit the YANGWANG U9 dancing, outside of Goodwood, and it did not disappoint.

The YANGWANG cars were just the beginning of our Summer Event. With help from the original BYD fleet, we were able to power our event almost entirely on Vehicle To Load. The BYD ATTO 3 was hooked up to power the Popcorn and Slushie machine, the BYD SEAL powered our bouncy castle, and the BYD DOLPHIN provided power to our pizza station. As well as this, we treated our guests to mocktails, ice cream and face painting over the course of a fantastic day.
