Peoples Ford is proud to partner with Walking Football Scotland for a special Drive 4 UR Community event at Falkirk Stadium.

On Friday 17th July, we’re inviting the local community to take a test drive in the latest Ford vehicles and help raise money for a fantastic cause. For every eligible test drive completed between 10am and 5pm, Ford will donate £30 to Walking Football Scotland.

How It Works

Simply register or show up on the day and take a test drive at the event. For every completed test drive, Ford will donate £30 directly to Walking Football Scotland.

About Walking Football Scotland

Walking Football Scotland supports over 5,000 participants each week, with many describing the game as life-changing. Beyond the physical health benefits, walking football helps tackle loneliness, improves mental wellbeing, creates friendships, and gives people a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.

How Your Test Drive Helps

A £30 donation could help Walking Football Scotland:

• Support facility hire for walking football sessions that support older adults to remain active, connected and independent.
• Deliver specialist walking football opportunities for people living with Parkinson’s, helping improve mobility, confidence and wellbeing.
• Train and develop volunteer coaches and session leaders, ensuring safe and welcoming environments for players.
• Help subsidise participation costs, making walking football accessible to those who may otherwise be unable to take part.
• Contribute towards equipment such as footballs, bibs and goals used by thousands of players across Scotland every week.

The Difference We Can Make Together

Should 200 customers take part in the initiative, the potential £6,000 raised would directly support the continued growth of walking football across Scotland, enabling more older adults, women, and people living with conditions such as Parkinson’s to experience the many benefits that the game brings.

Importantly, all donations will be distributed across participating teams, helping ensure support reaches clubs and communities directly involved in delivering walking football sessions.

*Please bring your drivers license. A drivers license check will be done on the day. Drivers need to be over the age of 18; have held their license for over 1 year; have no more than 6 points on their license; test drives will be accompanied.
