Following on from the most recent government guidelines we wanted to outline how we will be there to help keep you moving.
Our physical sales showrooms in Liverpool at Bootle, Prescot & Speke are currently closed to the public but all digital and virtual sales remain open for business. Test drives are temporarily unavailable in line with government guidance.
As of 6pm on 20th November, our Livingston branch will enter level 4 restrictions. As such, our Livingston internal showroom will be closed to customers looking to buy a car. Although we can’t welcome you into the Livingston dealership we can still welcome you onto our dealership forecourt to demonstrate vehicles and their technology. We can also facilitate unaccompanied test drives. All interactions are conducted safely and in line with the Ford Care Code which goes above and beyond Government guidance.
Our Scottish locations at Edinburgh & Falkirk remain fully open as normal.
Our focus remains on supporting our customers, colleagues and the local communities across Scotland and Liverpool. The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top priority and every decision we make will be in line with the most up to date Government guidance. Covid safe procedures are well and truly established and the feedback we have received from customers has been very positive – people feel safe in our businesses. Our Liverpool sales showrooms and used car external display areas will not be open to the public from 5th November until further notice. Our Livingston branch will enter level 4 restrictions as of 6pm on Friday 20th November. Our Edinburgh & Falkirk locations remain open as normal.
Our teams in Bootle, Prescot, Speke will be in the dealerships to continue car sales remotely and we will be able to talk to you via video and meet your needs almost as well as if you were with us – all the way through to helping you buy your next car using our click & collect service.
Our team in Livingston can’t welcome you into the dealership but we can still welcome you onto our dealership forecourt to demonstrate vehicles and their technology. The used car section of our website is fully transactional, meaning you can browse, finance & buy from the comfort of your home.
Customers can still collect a car or van which has been purchased either online or via the telephone directly from all of our dealerships, though the handover will be conducted from a designated exterior handover area in those affected by government restrictions and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety.
Home delivery options will also be available and handled in a safe manner. Please contact us for details.

Our aftersales departments remain fully operational for servicing, MOT and repairs in line with government guidelines. Our aftersales departments follow the Ford Care Code and strict hygiene measures are in place – including, social distancing measures, hand sanitiser stations throughout, strict face covering (if you don’t’ have one we will provide you with one), an appointment-only system, protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments – you can find out more here.
