Platinum Pudding winner Jemma Melvin was the latest star to try out the amazing All-Electric Mustang Mach-E. Jemma truly is a star of the British baking scene after she fought off fierce competition to have her trifle named the official pudding of the late Queen's Jubilee celebrations. Inspired by her Grandmother, who she referred to as the 'Queen of Trifles' herself, Jemma had no idea she would create such a masterpiece that would go on to win the approval of none other than Dame Mary Berry and Monica Galetti, who were the competition judges. Here at Peoples Ford, we were honoured to be given the chance to partner up with such a talented baker and wonderful person, she is after all the daughter of our very own Darren Melvin, Sales Controller at our Bootle dealership!
Recently crowned champion of such a coveted baking competition which saw her amazing trifle named the jewel of all 5,000 entries, Jemma had the chance to check out the jewel of the Ford fleet and take the Mustang Mach-E out for a spin around her hometown of Southport.

"My journey with the Ford Mustang Mach-E began at the showroom in Bootle, a delightful experience from the very start. The friendly staff made me feel at home, and to kick things off on a sweet note, I brought along a batch of my homemade cookies to share with everyone present, showroom employees and even curious customers!
A Delicious First Assignment
My first assignment for the Mach-E was a unique one: delivering a cake. As a baker, I was somewhat apprehensive about transporting a delicate confection, but the Mach-E's exceptionally smooth ride soon put my worries to rest. The cake remained perfectly intact, even as we navigated the occasional speed bump. It was a testament to the Mach-E's blend of power and precision.
A Hometown Tour with Heads Turning
Next, I took the Mach-E for a spin around my charming hometown of Southport. The car, with its sleek and eye-catching design, turned heads wherever it went. People stopped to ask about the vehicle, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as I showcased this stunning electric SUV. It wasn't just a car; it was a conversation starter, an attention magnet, and a source of local admiration.
Charging Up the Easy Way
Managing the Mach-E's battery was a breeze. During a shopping trip to stock up on baking ingredients, I took a quick break in the local supermarket's car park to charge up.
Ford's intuitive charging system made the process simple and convenient. It was just like plugging in at home, but with the added benefit of being out and about. A cup of coffee, some light shopping, and the Mach-E was ready to hit the road again, fully charged and ready for my next adventure.
In conclusion, my time with the Ford Mustang Mach-E was not just about a car; it was a journey filled with delightful surprises.
From sharing cookies at the showroom to delivering cakes with ease, cruising through my hometown, and effortlessly charging up during my daily errands, the Mach-E seamlessly integrated into my life. It's more than a vehicle; it's a companion that enhances the everyday, and it truly exceeded my expectations.
