Transit Connect's mechanical limited-slip differential can help reduce unwanted wheelspin, especially on loose surfaces. By automatically directing torque to the wheel with the most grip, it enhances Transit Connect's front-wheel drive capability and delivers even greater levels of traction, stability and composure in more challenging conditions.

Transit Connect Van provides an impressive 2.9 cubic metres of loadspace in the short wheelbase (L1) version behind its full-height, full-width glazed or unglazed steel bulkhead. The long wheelbase (L2) model offers up to 3.6 cubic metres*. Wide-opening rear doors and side load door (option on Van Base) are optimised for their opening heights, and combine with a low floor height for effortless access to the loadspace.
180-degree opening rear doors can be securely latched at 90-degrees for safer working in high winds, or when loading on a sloped surface (standard)
Load-through bulkhead provides floor-level access to the additional storage space beneath the front passenger seat. This allows you to transport longer items, such as pipes or posts of up to 3.0-metres in length in L1 Van, or 3.4-metres in L2 Van (option)
Sliding kerb side load door offers easy access to the loadspace (option on Van Base, standard on Trend and above)
Twin sliding side load doors for even greater loading versatility (option on Van, standard on Double Cab-in-Van)
