This year we are delighted to be supporting the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI) Great Glen Challenge by providing one of our Ford Ranger demonstrator vehicles. Teams of five individuals will compete against each other over defined stages between Fort Augustus and Fort William, spanning a 49 km route through breath-taking, inspiring countryside. The event was created as a distinctive and interesting one-day team challenge for rural businesses and groups. A prize-giving celebration is held at Neptune's Staircase/The Mooring's Hotel at the end of the course, where competitors ride, kayak, walk, and run. The fifth member of the team serves as a designated driver who assists in picking up and dropping off team members along the Great Glen Way.
The RSABI has been supporting people in Scottish Agriculture for 125 years. All individuals working in the Scottish agricultural sector are supported by RSABI financially, emotionally, and practically. All support is provided in confidence by their amiable and competent crew members.
We recognise the value of the agriculture sector and what it represents to all UK residents which is why we want to play our part in keeping the wheels turning. We are absolutely delighted to say that the team were able to hit their £50,000 fundraising target during the challenge and here at Peoples Ford we could not be more pleased for everyone involved!
