Warranty Administrator

Role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Warranty Administrator to join our Warranty team in our Edinburgh Fordstore! If you’re passionate and interested in motor vehicles and have great attention to detail and organisational skills then this job could be ideal for you.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Warranty Manager, responsibilities will include:-

• Checking and verifying warranty claims and procedures in accordance with Ford Motor Company Policy & Procedures.
• Processing claims to Ford Motor Company.
• Ensuring the warranty repair to receipt time does not exceed the national average.
• Ensuring that all warranty statements/payments/invoicing and releasing are up to date at each month end.
• Liaising daily with the Aftersales Department, as well as with Ford Motor Company and external Retail dealers.
• Ensuring all requested parts are returned safely to Ford Motor Company using set procedures.
• Double checking the content of job cards and highlighting any errors accordingly.
• Making sure parts are correctly discounted and booked out at the correct prices.

What you’ll have:-

• Self-confidence and a customer focussed attitude
• Great attention to detail, articulate and good numeracy skills
• Ability to work on your own, and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in the Automotive Industry is desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Previous experience in a Warranty role is desirable

• Working Hours 30-32 hours per week worked over 4 days between Monday to Friday. We are flexible with our working patterns and can offer a range of hours including, 7.30am to 4pm, 8am to 4.30pm, 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5.30pm depending on what suits you best.
